I want to stop hunger
Christine is a single mom with three young children and limited financial resources. She, like many others, has lost her job due to the COVID-19 crisis. After receiving her government allowance, she heads out to get groceries. She has no choice but to take all three kids with her. The sideways looks and stares she gets once there are not exactly welcoming. Her eyes brimming with tears, she puts a few basic essentials in her cart, pays and leaves.
These are trying times for us all, but vulnerable families are struggling more than most. Thanks to your support, we can find ways to make life a little easier for parents like Christine and ensure that no child goes without.
This is a perfectly legitimate question that we’ve heard from many donors. With Breakfast Club of Canada, you can be sure that your donation will be handled with the utmost integrity. BCC is proud to be a part of a select group of charitable organizations accredited by Imagine Canada. Accreditation involves meeting 75 standards across 5 key areas including governance, staff management and volunteer involvement.
Their generosity helps us ensure that as many children as possible have access to a nutritious breakfast in these difficult times.
